Brisk summer activity at Canal Walk’s Reserve North
September 07, 2014

FRANKLIN (Somerset) — Summer is ending on a high note at Reserve North at Canal Walk, where strong sales activity has propelled the upscale activeadult community to the 70-percent- sold mark.

The flurry of buyer interest has left less than 20 homes remaining in the final phase of single- family residences at Reserve North, including the newest model, the Milan, which is now open. The dwindling inventory has interested prospects acting quickly to benefit from the intimate neighborhood’s comprehensive lifestyle which starts with its elegantly-designed residences and extends to its resort-inspired environment and desirable central New Jersey location.

Homes in the last housing section represent the final 5 percent of single-family residences to ever be offered as new homes at Canal Walk.

“Reserve North has distinguished itself by taking all the elements active adults want and bringing them together into one community,” said Marty Egan, a sales associate with Premier Development, which is developing Reserve North bordering the historic Delaware-Raritan Canal in Somerset County Franklin Township.

“The single-family layouts provide a high level of value, luxury and space. We’ve left no stone unturned when it comes to our world-class amenities and services. And our prime location near a network of major highways and mass transportation brings all the delights of northern, central and southern New Jersey and New York City a short commute away. It all adds up to a record pace as we near the end of sales for our single- family product,” Egan said.

There’s no better time to see the lifestyle at Reserve North than during the summer and fall seasons, when the community is bustling with activity, Egan added.

Much of the action is centered around the 32,000 squarefoot Premier Club, the jewel of Canal Walk. The word-class facility offers a a heated pool and whirlpool, a spa with steam room, sauna and a fullyequipped fitness room. There’s also a library, crafts room, billiards room and separate men’s and women’s card rooms. In addition, a business center, banquet hall and lounges are available. Tennis, bocce courts and a putting green are adjacent to the oversized outdoor pool and spa. Additional services include a beauty salon and a massage and wellness center.

“Our homeowners are heavily engaged in this community, with more than 42 clubs and groups already formed and running,” Egan pointed out. “We also have full time activities and social directors responsible for organizing and planning events and trips to exciting destinations such as Atlantic City, Mohegan Sun, historic Cape May, Yankees and Mets games, Broadway shows and much more. ”

Priced from $438,900, homes at Reserve North offer premium locations within Canal Walk and come with a long list of designer appointments as standard features. Included in the purchase price are granite kitchen counters with furniture- grade kitchen cabinets, hardwood flooring in most of the main-floor living area, a family-room fire place, an outside paving-stone patio off the kitchen, an upgraded high-efficiency Lenox furnace and central air conditioning.
